Iris Apfel Is Launching A Makeup Collection With MAC

 
Iris Apfel, fashion icon, lover of jewelry and all things sparkly and fun, is coming out with her own line of makeup for MAC.
MAC’s spokespeople say the new colors are inspired by Apfel’s masterfully built collection of haute couture clothing and flea market finds, which she amassed and put together in radical ways over the last few decades. How you can manage to parse down a collection of clothing and jewelry like Apfel’s into a handful of lipsticks and some eyeshadow is beyond us, but MAC seems to have done it well.The collection includes five lipsticks and three lip pencils; five eyeshadows, a mascara, a brow pencil and an eye pencil; a powder; and three shades of nail polish. With the exception of the $23 powder, everything retails for $15 or less.
