Limited-edition locket by Stephen Webster supports fight against malaria.

British luxury jeweler Stephen Webster has designed a limited-edition locket to support the international organization "Malaria No More UK" and raise funds to save lives in Africa.
The launch of the locket coincides with the announcement of Webster as a special ambassador for the organization. The locket is the second piece that Stephen has designed for "Malaria No More UK" following the success of his first design, a striking mosquito ring which sold out in record time during autumn 2009 on.ASOS.COM
"Making malaria no more is something that we can all support and this is my way of helping the cause. I decided to revamp the traditional locket and create a provocative and expressive talking piece. It's something that will look good for a long time and I hope will be a source of joy for whoever wears it," said Stephen in a statement.
Striving to put an end to the death and suffering caused by malaria, the global campaign is working with supports from government bodies, faith groups, the private sector and the public as well. The organization was founded in the year 2008 to increase awareness of the general masses of the impact of malaria in Africa and also to strengthen UK political and financial support to fight for the cause.
A number of renowned faces from the world of fashion and entertainment are helping to promote the launch of the locket and thereby contribute in the fight against malaria. Included within the campaign faces are British actress Annabelle Wallis, trend-setter and model Olivia Palermo, English television presenter Tess Daly, supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and her model daughter, Amber Le Bon.
Also contributing in the campaign are supermodel turned fashion photographer Astrid Munoz and creative director Elizabeth Saltzman of Vanity Fair.
"As a mother of three, it is shocking to know pregnant women and children are the most vulnerable to malaria in Africa, where a child dies from the disease every 45 seconds. The mosquito locket for Malaria No More UK is an inspired piece of jewellery which will help save and protect many lives. I will wear my mosquito locket with pride," said Yasmin Le Bon in a statement.
The stunning locket is available on ASOS.COM from November 1 for 95 pounds with 100 percent profits donated to "Malaria No More UK".
